Guided by a model of servant leadership, he has served as an agency Chief for a volunteer company and as a deacon on his church's board. Currently, Dan is a Fire Captain and EMS Supervisor for one of the nation’s major metropolitan fire departments in Northern Virginia.

Dan is a lifelong student. He avidly enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, shooting, aviation, and working with his hands.

He is a strong supporter of our nation's Constitution and Second Amendment; as a conservative Republican, he advocates a platform of traditional values, public safety and smart development. He advocates for fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth that protects and promotes our strong agricultural heritage and deep historical roots.
